The World Sustainable Development Forum (WSDF) is a platform that seeks to create awareness and action towards meeting the objectives of sustainable development. The Forum has been inspired by the success of the Delhi Sustainable Development Summit (DSDS) and the need for spreading the message from each summit to different parts of the world. The WSDF events therefore aim not only to understand and disseminate information on issues of sustainable development in particular regions but also study, monitor and report achievements or the lack of them in this field. The Forum has been able to secure patronage of a group of highly distinguished global leaders drawn from government, industry and the academia. An advisory group is also being formulated to steer the activities of the forum.
